The University of Bradford will hold a public lecture looking into car culture.
The lecture will be led by the Centre for Applied Social Research and takes place on Tuesday, May 7.
It will look at the links car culture has to masculinity, ethnicity and youth culture.
Yunis Alam, lecturer in social sciences and criminal justice studies at the University of Bradford, will explore the vitality of car culture in Bradford while Dan Swanton, of the University of Edinburgh, will explore everyday multi-culture from a ‘behind-the-wheel’ perspective.
The free seminar will be held from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in the John Stanley Bell Lecture Theatre, at the University of Bradford.
