Two teenagers and a 21-year-old man are in custody after the death of a 51-year-old local woman yesterday following a road collision in Bradford.
Police are appealing for information after the incident at 5.16pm Saturday on Mandale Road, Buttershaw which involved two vehicles, a taxi and a black BMW.
The 51-year-old suffered fatal injuries after both vehicles collided as she paid the taxi fare. She was later named as grandmother Mary Byrne, of Mandale Road.
The male and only occupant of the BMW, aged 21, is in police custody after he was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Two other men, aged 19 and 17, have also been arrested on the same charge and remain in custody.
No-one else is currently being sought in connection with the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle in the area beforehand.
