Pupils are celebrating after a winning an award for serving-up healthy school food.
Fresh meals and visits from farm animals helped Trinity All Saints C of E Primary School, in Bingley, earn a Silver Food for Life Partnership Award at Manchester Town Hall.
It was presented to staff by school food expert Jeanette Orrey.
The school serves nutritious meals and staff have given pupils and parents the opportunity to cook and grow food and visit farms.
Teacher Luke Thompson said: “Since becoming involved in the Food for Life Partnership our school meal take-up has increased and there is a higher involvement of pupils in our cooking and growing activities.” The Food for Life Partnership supports schools to improve their food and help pupils, teachers and parents learn about nutrition and where their food comes from.
