The owners of an Indian restaurant in Stockbridge, Keighley, have revealed plans to build two shops on a car parking area next to the business.
Abdul Rob has applied to Bradford Council for two shops, with two first-floor apartments above, on the site of The Bridge Lounge, formally the Stockbridge Arms pub on Bradford Road.
He expects the shops, one 75 square metres and the other 60 square metres, to create two full-time and four part-time jobs. The shops would lead to the restaurant losing ten of its 60 parking spaces.
