Communities in the Aire Valley are to receive a share of £70,000 of Bradford Council cash to meet local needs.
Shipley Area Committee has received the money to support improvement projects tackling priorities in its latest action plan.
The committee has decided to spend £25,000 on summer holiday activities for children across its area.
It will spend £19,000 on “Smart & Clean” initiatives, such as community clean-ups, bulb-planting and path clearing.
Last year’s Smart & Clean campaign included wall repairs and grass verge tidying in Cullingworth and the cutting back of vegetation in Denholme.
There will be a total of £20,000 for the Community Chest, which provides grants of up to £500 to community groups. The remaining £6,000 will be split equally between the six wards, including Bingley Rural, in the Shipley constituency.
