The Haworth & Oxenhope District Bridleways Group found that the weather has been playing havoc with their events. The March monthly meeting had to be cancelled owing to the weather, but Michael Bower of Turner and Wall Solicitors, has been re-booked for later in the year on legal aspects of horse ownership. Meanwhile, the next meetings will be on Tuesday, April 23 (Michael Darwin, Farrier) and Tuesday, May 21 (Charles Owen Riding Hats, plus a chance to bring your own hat and have it checked for fit and safety). Weather permitting, the group has planned the first Dressage Competition of 2013 for Saturday and the first pleasure ride for May 6, but please check the website for updates. Riding & Road Safety training and a visit to Robinson’s Equestrian are currently also being rearranged.
