To showcase the work that has been carried out and to encourage residents to become Friends of the Dell, Cullingworth Village Council has organised a family fun open day at the Dell – supported by BEES, BUWT, schools, scouts, guides, cubs, Brownies and many more – on Saturday, noon to 4pm, at venues in and around the Scout Hut, the Dell and Methodist Church. Attractions and activities for children and adults alike include den building, treasure hunt, tree identification and information walks, face painting, duck race, seed planting, wildlife painting together with SMJ Falconry and Steve Thorpe and his woodland puppets Sage and Onion.

The Cullingworth supper club meets this evening at 7.30pm at the Methodist Church, Dellside Fold, when Albert Pratt goes Coast to Coast.
St Saviour’s Church, Harden hosts a coffee morning on Saturday 10am to noon. There’s a coffee morning every third Saturday in the month and proceeds are for church funds.
St John’s Cullingworth is holding a service for the bereaved on Sunday 3pm, followed by an English tea party.

Harden pre-school group for two years to school age, meets weekdays during term times, 9am-3.15pm (including lunch club), Memorial Hall.
A taught art class, is held today St John’s Room, Cullingworth, 7–9pm.
Members of Wilsden and Harden WIs will attend the Lower Wharfedale Group meeting on Wednesday, Bridge Church, Otley. The speaker is Otley resident and actress, Beatrice Kelly.
