The 33rd Addingham Allotments and Gardens Association spring flower show and coffee morning took place at Addingham Memorial Hall.
The recent weather reduced the number of entries of cut flowers, such as daffodils and tulips, but there was a good number of plants and arrangements – a total of 67 entries – of a very high standard.
The children’s section was particularly praised by organisers, with around 110 exhibits of pictures of daffodils by pupils of Addingham Primary School.
The Association’s president, Bill Preston, presented the trophies for the Best in Show to Janine Acomb, for a planter of daffodils and hyacinths, and the Best in the Children’s section was Mollie Littlejohn for her decorated plant pot.
