The Adel Players will take to the stage with a production of Ghosts later this month, under improved lighting and other upgraded facilities.
The society, which has been performing at the Memorial Hall in Adel for more than 60 years, has raised £14,000 to carry out work on its theatre space, which has been completed in time for its production of Ibsen’s classic.
The stage has been refurbished and new facilities include additional lighting, new sound equipment and an induction loop to help audience members who have difficulties with hearing.
Ghosts, running from April 24 - 27, is the third and final play in Adel Players’ 2012-13 season. Call (0113) 275 5585.
