A volunteer-led group is running a bus linking train services to the Dales.

The Dales & Bowland Community Interest Company is reintroducing its Northern Dalesman Dales Bus service which connects with trains from West Yorkshire on the Settle-Carlisle line at Ribblehead station.

Users of the 9am train from Leeds on Sundays, and the 8.50am service on bank holiday Mondays, can board at stations along the Airedale line to Ribblehead then catch the bus service bus to Hawes, Keld, Muker, Gunnerside, Reeth and Richmond.

Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line and DalesBus Ramblers also offer a range of free guided walks.

The DalesBus is managed by volunteers from the Dales and Bowland Community Interest Company.
