The city’s college and university have teamed up to host a coffee morning in support of care providers.
Foster carers, social workers and education support workers are invited to attended the event at Bradford University, in the Escalate Centre, on Friday, April 26, between 10am and 11.30am.
The coffee morning is a way for the institutions to speak to people who are involved in supporting looked-after children – young people cared for by the state.
They hope the event will be an opportunity to address their needs and provide information for the young people’s future.
Bradford College and Bradford University said they were both passionate about widening participation and encouraging students to continue with their education to enable them to have a rewarding career.
