An Otley supermarket will be working with local schoolchildren to encourage them to grow and sell their own produce. The town’s Waitrose store has invited two local primary schools to get involved in the Grow and Sell project. The scheme aims to help children learn more about where food comes and the impact of the seasons, and also to develop entrepreneurial skills - by selling on the vegetables they grown to Waitrose customers.
