Marie Curie nurses are thanking everyone in Ilkley for helping to make the charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal a roaring success this year.
Since the month-long appeal started on March 1, Ilkley fundraising group and their volunteer donation collectors have been out in force to encourage people to wear the charity’s daffodil pin and make a donation to support people with a terminal illness.
The Ilkley Fundraising Group, thanks to the hard work of treasurer Barbara Mann, have raised £2,531.40 at six different collections throughout the area.
