Police will put Frizinghall residents in the picture as they celebrate the area’s diverse and vibrant community this Saturday.
A montage of photographs will form a community trail through the area, taking in locations such as the Jamia Tabligh Ul Islam mosque on Aireville Road and its oldest public building, The Black Swan pub.
The celebration at Frizinghall Community Centre will invite people to take a tour of the trail from 1pm and enjoy a free meal. There will be entertainment from community and circus performers, while churches and the mosque will be hosting tours.
