Two men are to go on trial accused of robbery, sexual assault and blackmail in connection with a raid at a family’s home in Emm Lane, Heaton, Bradford, on January 8 this year.
Najeeb Aslam, 27, of Hudson Crescent, Great Horton, Bradford, and Hasnain Raja, 21, of Arncliffe Terrace, Lidget Green, Bradford, denied the charges at a case management hearing at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.
They were remanded back into custody for a five-day trial starting on July 1.
The men are charged with robbery of a mobile phone, jewellery, cash, keys and other property.
They are accused of making an unwarranted demand of £80,000 with menaces, between January 9 and 23.
