A report due to go before councillors this week provides a detailed update on a series of regeneration initiatives taking place in Bradford.
The Prosperity and Regeneration Partnership progress report will be discussed by Bradford Council’s Regeneration Scrutiny Committee at 5.30pm tomorrow in City Hall.
The report outlines the situation with the City Centre Growth Zone, with 17 companies having had their applications approved, committing about £1m of spending to deliver 118 jobs. In terms of City Park, the report says a free Wi-Fi service covering the park has been launched.
The document also includes progress on the Heritage Streets scheme.
The report says the start of Westfield’s Broadway scheme is scheduled for the second half of 2013 with a target opening date of December 2015.
