Dozens of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers and Cubs enjoyed science experiment workshops in the district during the school Easter holidays.
The workshops were run by Emma Brown, of the Burley-in-Wharfedale Senior Section, as part of her Queens Guide Award community action project, to enthuse more girls and boys about science. The workshops were run in the Burley-in-Wharfedale Scout and Guide Hut supported by Sally Gunton, Woodhead district commissioner Sue Vint, Bethany Smith and Charlotte Forder.
