The International Food & Travel Studio School at Bradford College will be officially opened tomorrow.
The opening is being co-hosted by The Michelin Star Box Tree Restaurant, Ilkley, and school students at the Studio School from 12.30pm.
A two-course meal will be prepared by The Box Tree’s Head Chef, Dan Birk, and served by restaurant manager, Andrew Pratt, with the help of students studying hospitality and catering.
Students will also be serving the food to the guests, including the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Dale Smith, Rena Gueller, the owner of the Box Tree, Mohammed Aslam, the managing director of Aagrah Restaurants, and the College’s principal Michele Sutton.
The Box Tree is one of the school’s employer partners providing weekly work placements for students.
