Images of a 13-year-old girl allegedly being sexually assaulted as she lay semi-naked and unconscious in a field have been shown to a jury at Bradford Crown Court.

The girl’s torn red knickers and ripped black top were held up in the courtroom by a police officer as the trial of three teenagers accused of abusing her entered a second week.

The boy and two girls, who cannot be named, are accused of carrying out a humiliating sexual assault on the 13-year-old girl and taking photos of her while she was comatose after drinking neat vodka.

The defendants, a boy of 15 and two girls, aged 14 and 15, are said by prosecutor Nick Askins to have abused the unconscious girl to entertain themselves.

All three deny sexually assaulting the girl in a field at Queensbury, Bradford, on December 22, 2011.

The 15-year-old girl pleads not guilty to taking or making indecent photos of the girl and distributing them to her then boyfriend. The boy and the younger girl deny taking indecent photos of the girl.

Yesterday, the court was shown a series of images allegedly recorded on mobile phones taken from the defendants of the girl lying partially clothed on grass.

Another person can apparently be seen taking a picture of her.

The jury also heard from police officers and paramedics who attended to scene after a woman called an ambulance at about 4pm.

PC Paul Thomas said the 15-year-old girl, who was 13 at the time, told him: “I haven’t done anything, so I have nothing to worry about.”

She said the alleged victim had drunk a bottle of neat vodka. She was spinning round and fell over.

PC Thomas said the 15-year-old girl told him the other two defendants had undressed the girl and thrown grass and mud over her.

The 14-year-old girl told officers: “Not done anything,” when she was charged, the court was told.

The unconscious girl’s torn clothing was recovered from the scene by a member of the ambulance crew and handed to the police.

The trial continues.
