Residents of a housing estate are being offered a helping hand into work by the district’s biggest landlord.
Incommunities is providing free help and advice sessions to residents in Bracken Bank, Keighley, at the Sue Belcher Community Centre on Bracken Bank Avenue.
Lucy Fontaine, who works for Incommunities Open Field employment service, is at the centre throughout the week. Appointment-only sessions run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, while drop-in sessions are on Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm.
Lucy offers one-to-one support such as help preparing CVs, completing application forms, job search advice, interview tips and information about access training.
She is able to put people wanting to start up in business in touch with Open Field’s enterprise coaches.
