Top plays book dates at Bradford Alhambra
Stage adaptations of To Sir With Love and Brassed Off are coming to Bradford.
To Sir With Love is the inspirational story of Ricky Braithwaite, a former RAF fighter pilot who arrives in London and soon learns what it is to be black in post-war England. Turned down for jobs as an electronic engineer, Ricky begins his first teaching post in a tough East End school.
The tour of Brassed Off will feature local brass bands from each town the production is visiting.
The play runs at the Alhambra from March 11 – 15, next year. To Sir With Love is at the Alhambra from November 5 – 9 this year.
