Rooneys of the future can hone their skills when a popular football course returns this week.
Bradford Council’s Striker 9 course, for five to 15-year-olds of all abilities, will be held at leisure centres across the district.
Participants will be taught core skills of control, dribbling, running with the ball, passing, turning, shooting and heading.
The programme, taught by FA-qualified coaches, runs in the evenings and at weekends and will be held at Marley Activities and Coaching Centre, Nab Wood Sports Centre, Richard Dunn’s Sports Centre, Thornton Recreation Centre and Manningham Sports Centre. To book a place, visit or phone the relevant sports centre.
