Police have warned motorists across the Bradford district that driving on common land or moorland without lawful authority is an offence.
The warning comes after a driver was reported for driving illegally on moorland in Baildon.
The Mitsubishi Shogun was seen driving on the moors off Glen Road, Baildon. The driver was spoken to by officers last Sunday and will appear in court at a future date.
Sergeant Dom Kirkley, from Shipley neighbourhood policing team, said: “This may act as a timely reminder to advise people that driving a vehicle without lawful authority on common land or moorland is an offence under the road traffic act 1988.”
