A former Ilkley church chorister and ex-Ilkley Grammar School pupil has been appointed artistic director of a Glasgow theatre.
Judith Kilvington, who used to sing in the choir at St Margaret’s Church, Ilkley, will take up the post at the Citizens Theatre in July, working alongside artistic director Dominic Hill, to secure the future success of the theatre. She is currently executive director and joint chief executive officer of Graeae Theatre Company in London.
Judith said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at the Citizens Theatre and working with Dominic as the theatre prepares for some very significant projects on the horizon.”
