A charity is taking digital learning out to communities around keighley and Skipton after securing a £10,000 Lottery grant.
IT’s For ME, organised by Craven Community and Voluntary Services, will start in May and aims to help adults and older people gain ICT skills and internet know-how.
It is planned that the project will go out to communities unable to access courses run at libraries, colleges and schools. Additional courses will take place in Embsay, Glusburn, Sutton-in-Craven, Cowling and Farnhill.
Organiser Derek Blackwell said the courses would be informal, but structured. For details, contact Mr Blackwell on (01535) 634588 or 07834 713735 or e-mail derek@cravencvs.org.uk.
