A robber grabbed a man by the throat and threatened to stab him before stealing his wallet and mobile phone in Bradford today.
The 21-year-old victim was walking through a subway near St John’s Church in Wakefield Road, Bowling, at about 11am.
After being grabbed and threatened, the man was dragged to the ground and had his pockets searched. The suspect stole the phone and wallet before making off through the subway and on to Wakefield Road.
Police said no weapon was seen during the robbery and that the victim, who was heading towards a bus stop at the junction of Wakefield Road and New Hey Road, was shaken but otherwise unharmed.
The suspect was a white man aged in his mid-20s, about 6ft tall and of medium build. He had ginger hair and wore a blue hooded jacket, dark tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers.
