Kyle Carey’s musical influences include the songs of the American Folk Anthology, the traditional music of Cape Breton, Ireland and Scotland, and the Appalachian poetry of Louise McNeill.
Her debut album Monongah, produced by former Lunasa guitarist Donogh Hennessy, rose to the Top 10 of the International Folk DJ charts.
Josienne Clarke was raised in Sussex and her solo album One Light Is Gone, in 2010, was well received by reviewers.
Evesham-born Ben Walker was influenced by artists such as Bert Jansch, Pierre Bensusan and Richard Thompson. His steel and nylon string acoustic guitar, mandolin, production and arrangement are a perfect match for Josienne's crystal clear voice and honest, original song-writing.
Kyle Cary, Ben Walker and Josienne Clarke will be playing the Topic Folk Club at Bradford Irish Club on Thursday, May 9.
