Bingley Gilbert and Sullivan Society has been celebrating its diamond anniversary with a special production of Trial By Jury – taking place in City Hall.
The society put on a special performance of the operetta in the Victorian courtroom this week, and invited representatives of Bradford law firms and magistrates to watch from the public gallery.
The production will run at Bingley Arts Centre from April 22 to 27, along with a junior version of HMS Pinafore, featuring younger members of the society, which has its own shaggy dog story.
Four-legged cast member Fiji was found abandoned by the canal and his rescuers took him in. Now he’s a happy canine thesp, treading the boards with his friends at Bingley G&S.
