As the date of a family fun event draws near, organisers are reminding the public about the entertainment lined up for the day. The event is being organised by Jamie Boyle, 34, of Wibsey, who vowed to give something back to good causes after being diagnosed with a serious illness himself only four years ago.
He has arranged for the ‘Family Fun Day’ to be held at The Northern pub in Halifax Road, Bradford, on Sunday, April 28, in aid of Cancer Support Bradford and Airedale. Entertainment will begin about 1pm and will involve a rodeo, race night and live music. There will also be back waxing, and Mr Boyle will have a sponsored head shave.
An auction will also be held offering items including a signed Manchester United shirt, a signed football from Celtic foot-ball players and a bottle of House of Commons wine from Bradford South MP Gerry Sutcliffe.
