The Friends of Judy Wood group is staging its annual meeting on Thursday, April 18, at 7pm in the Wyke Methodist Church, off Towngate, Wyke.
After the formal business, a presentation will be made by the practical task force group.
This group was formed a few years ago by members of the Friends who saw a need to assist Bradford Council in general maintenance by carrying out practical jobs in the woods such as picking up litter, clearing the beck of unwanted furniture, supermarket trolleys, clearing trenches and repairing walls.
The group of ten to 15 able-bodied men and women meets every Wednesday at 9.30am at the Station Road entrance to the woods.
A group spokesman said: “How this group operates may be of interest to other groups engaged in similar work, if so, then you are welcome to come along and join us at this meeting.”
