Workers’ Memorial Day will be remembered in Bradford with a minute’s silence.
There will be a remembrance gathering at the memorial garden at the back of City Hall at noon on Sunday, April 28.
At 1pm there will be a free showing of ‘Bhopali the Film’ at Bradford Resource Centre in Little Germany.
The film screening has been organised by Bradford Area Safety Reps Assocition and Bradford TUC as a tribute to the thousands of people killed in the world’s largest industrial disaster.
The film was made to raise awareness about the ongoing pollution from Dow Chemicals in Bhopal and the ongoing suffering because of profits being put before people, said Jane Howie, from the Bradford Area Safety Reps Association.
