Farmers and members of the public who helped clear away snow were thanked at a the April meeting of Oxenhope Parish Council.
Coun David Ashcroft said: “We had an awful lot of people around the village who got together to deal with the snow with machinery or shovels. My neighbours in Jew Lane cleared it completely. People seem to have been much more willing to get stuck in and help out their neighbours.”
Councillors Penny Cusdin and Reg Hindley also voiced their gratitude to all those who took the initiative to tackle the snow last month.
