An exhibition of artwork by people who have suffered a stroke will go on display tomorrow.
The South West Bradford-Wibsey Stroke Group’s exhibition will include handmade felt, garlands, mosaics, printed fabric, painted ceramic tiles and acrylic paintings.
Wibsey Labour councillor Ralph Berry will open the event at Hive, in Shipley, between 10.30am and noon. Hive community arts organisation has supported the group in doing the exhibition.
Paul Knowles, the stroke group’s treasurer, said: “Everyone loves the lessons and Jane, the art tutor, has done her homework on the needs of stroke survivors.
“She tailors each lesson towards our members’ needs and teaches a range of simple techniques such as colour mixing.”
