A Slovakian man who went home early from a family party because he had work commitments was found hanged the next day, an inquest heard.
Married Jozef Facuna, 48, was discovered at his home in Lapwing Close, Lower Grange, Bradford, on January 20 this year by his brother-in-law.
After Mr Facuna had left the club, the rest of the family, including his wife, had gone to one of the relatives' homes and continued to drink until dawn, Bradford Coroner's Court was told yesterday.
Although Mr Facuna left no note, he had locked the door behind him and had known no one else was in the house at the time, said Assistant Deputy Coroner Dr Dominic Bell.
Recording a verdict of suicide, Dr Bell said: “There was no evidence it was an activity for any other gains or goals. I conclude it would appropriately be designated suicide.”
