A report into last year’s Bradford West by-election is to be discussed this month.
Written by political analyst Lewis Baston, ‘The Bradford Earthquake Report: Why Labour was defeated in the 2012 Bradford West by-elections? asks if the result was a statement of disillusionment, a protest vote against mainstream parties or a resurgence of engagement in politics.
The discussion, organised by the JUST West Yorkshire, The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust and the West Yorkshire Racial Justice Network, will take place on Thursday, April 18, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at Kala Sangam, at St Peter’s House, Forster Square, Bradford.
