The annual Daffodil Walk has been rescheduled to take place this Sunday after being cancelled due to bad weather.
The six-mile event, which was initially due to take place on March 24, gives walkers the chance to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of Myrtle Park and St Ives Estate.
New walkers are welcome to join the group at 9.30am at the starting point at the Old White Horse, in Bingley.
Registration costs £5 per person, and participants are encouraged to get sponsored for taking on the challenge.
The long-standing group, which is nicknamed the ‘Bradford Daffs’ after the charity’s iconic daffodil logo, has played a pivotal part in raising funds for the Marie Curie Hospice, which provides expert care and emotional support to terminally patients and their families.
Contact Jean Peart on (01274) 599 950 or e-mail jeanpeart@blueyonder.co.uk for more information about taking part.
Walkers can sign up in advance, or register on the day.
