Plans are under way to create a self-sufficient farm business in Riddlesden.

Peter Foxon, who recently bought Four Winds Farm on Banks Lane, wants to build a new barn for farm animals, replace a disused chalet with a transportable log home and install a small wind turbine and solar panels to power the farm.

As well as being self-sufficient, the farm will produce eggs, pork and lamb for sale.

Bradford Council will decide whether to approve his planning application in the coming weeks.
