Rat-running drivers illegally using a Pudsey street have been warned that they risk being fined.

Police have been taking action in Moorland Road, which has restricted access, after complaints by residents.

Sergeant Mark Czternastek said: “Our team at Pudsey is commited to increasing the quality of life of our residents and ensuring that we address our communities’ concerns in a proactive and thorough manor.

“Residents in Pudsey have spoken to us about their issues which are affecting them on a daily basis and so we have taken action.”
