A Bradford team has triumphed at the British Cheerleading Championships, and will now compete in the US.
The dancers are from Panache Cheerschool, owned and run by Robyn Morrison and her husband Glenn Morrison, former Bulls player and now coach of Dewsbury Rams.
“Our competition teams entered the National British Cheerleading Championships in Telford and we won three first places, one second place and three world bids to attend the US Finals in Virginia in May 2014,” said Mrs Morrison.
“Our teams that won the bids were our youngest teams – the mini team, six to nine, the youth team, nine to 12, and the intermediates, 12 to 14.
“This is a remarkable achievement; no other team has ever won three bids in three consecutive age groups to attend the US finals.”
