Members of the Skipton Soroptimists group have donated bulbs, which have been planted near Airedale Hospital’s west entrance.
Clare Shepherd, who is a volunteer at the Steeton site, said: “The donation came about from a conversation with a member of the hospital gardening team. They weren’t going to plant any bulbs this year due to a lack of funds, so we bought them with the proceeds from a book sale.”
Steve Marshall, head gardener at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, said the team have planted tulips and hyacinths.
