An 11-year-old boy was pushed to the floor and had his mobile phone stolen during a daylight robbery in Bradford. The youngster was on Parkside Road, West Bowling, last Sunday, at about 2.30pm when he was approached from behind by a man. After shoving the boy to the floor, the attacker took the phone from his pocket and ran into a nearby cemetery.
Police have released an e-fit of the suspect (aboev), who is described as white, aged in his late teens, slim with drawn appearance and black hair. He was also wearing a dark hooded top and dark-coloured bottoms.
At the time of the incident, the victim was helped by a passing member of the public who attempted to find the suspect.
Police would like to speak to that person as they believe they may have seen the attacker. Anyone who has information or saw this offence take place is asked to contact PC Ailsa Jackson at Bradford South CID on 101. Or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
