People with old, inefficient or faulty boilers could qualify for a free replacement.
The scheme is being run as part of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), a Government programme designed to reduce energy consumption in Britain by providing home improvements.
Certain residents can have their wall-mounted gas boilers replaced by a new A-rated model for free, which could save them up to £310 a year on heating bills.
The scheme is open to people in privately owned or rented homes, who are on certain income-related benefits, and is being run by Carillion Energy Services.
