A Keighley cafe has thrown its weight behind a campaign to help a seriously ill four-year-old girl.
Nerea Lee Torres, whose father Matthew Lee is from Keighley, has an inoperable brain tumour.
Tracey Thomas, who runs Cafe Hope in Central Hall, is backing the drive to raise cash to fund Nerea’s specialist medication.
“We didn’t hesitate, we knew we needed to help a very brave little girl,” she said. “We’re aiming to raise at least £1,000.”
The cafe is hosting a display featuring pictures of Nerea, and plans to hold fundraising events.
Matthew Lee, 37, went to the former Greenhead School in Keighley and lives in Spain with Nerea and his wife, Sonia.
He urged people to visit helpnerea.org, where they can learn more about his daughter’s situation. His local football team, Real Zaragoza, also backs in the Save Nerea campaign.
