Health commissioners in Bradford will hear about a local ‘patient involvement’ success story which has won national acclaim when they meet on Tuesday.
Wilsden Medical Practice patient participation group (PPG) has recently won an award from the National Association for Patient Participation, recognising its ‘outstanding work’ in involving patients in their local GP practice and wider healthcare issues.
Before National PPG Awareness Week Wendy Parkin, chairman of Wilsden PPG, will attend Bradford Districts Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) Governing Body meeting to share her experiences of developing a patient group and how it has made changes which have improved services. Bradford Districts CCG’s governing body will holdits public meeting at Royds Enterprise Park, Future Fields, Buttershaw, Bradford BD6 3EW, at 1.30pm on Tuesday.
