Those who attended the latest meeting of Keighley and District Photographic Association heard a talk about an internationally-recognised former president of the association.
The speaker was Roger Lambert, of High Hall, Steeton, who presented an illustrated talk about the work of Alex Keighley, a famous past-president of the association, who travelled around the world photographing and exhibiting his works.
He was also a member of the Royal Photographic Society and was known internationally. Mr Keighley moved into Steeton High Hall in about 1890 and opened the gardens to the public in 1926.
President Charlie Wightman thanked Mr Lambert for his interesting talk, which was enhanced by the speaker being the current owner of the hall.
