A dance with a difference is being organised by therapy and nursing staff from Airedale Hospital.
It is for people with Parkinson’s Disease, and is designed to give them an opportunity to enjoy a night out with friends and family.
The idea for the event came from Debra Borsley, speech therapist at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
This is the third dance of its kind organised with help from the AIRE Unit team, with support from local branches of Parkinson’s UK.
The free dance will take place on April 29 from 7pm to 10pm, at Holly Garth Social Club, Ilkley. The occasion will include a meal and a mixture of big band music.
To book, contact Gail Creswick on 0844 2253631 or gcreswick@parkinsons.org.uk.
