Baildon Players have raised more than £600 from a recent production of the comedy Ladies Down Under.
The play, by Amanda Whittington, included a collection taken in the audience for Cancer Research.
“The director is given the option of doing this. It’s unusual, but we decided to do it and it was very well received, so much so that we collected £609 over the five nights,” says Players spokesman Philip Smith.
