People from across the district are being given a rare chance to visit a mansion reputed to have been in Wuthering Heights.
They can join a guided tour of Ponden Hall, near Stanbury, as part of a walk from the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth.
Ponden Hall is said to have been the model for Thrushcross Grange which featured in the famous novel by Emily Bronte. In the book Catherine Earnshaw, the doomed sweetheart of Emily's hero Heathcliff, married Edgar Linton who lived at the Grange.
The walk on March 24 will be led by Helen Broadhead who runs Helen’s Heritage Walks.
The cost is £15 for adults and £12 for children aged 10 to 16. Book on 01274 532425 or helensheritagewalksntalks@hotmail.co.uk.
