It seems a lot of us are taking up craft activities in order to save some money, so here’s a chance for beginners and experienced rugmakers to join Baildon Rag Rugmaking Group on Saturday, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. This is a small, friendly group that is purely social and non profit-making. No previous experience is necessary. Rugging is very easy and something you can learn in five minutes and soon produce beautiful rugs or small wall hangings from worn-out clothing or oddments of wool. For further information, call Baildon Community Link on (01274) 588681. The cost is £3 per session to cover room hire.
