Four students at Bradford College have been chosen to star in a West Yorkshire Metro poster campaign promoting alternative methods of transport.
Tyrell Samuels, Makenzie Cairney, Joshua Spencer and Jasmine Faith Brown, who attend the college’s Style Academy, feature along with workers from building company BAM Construction on the transport body’s promotional material.
Their faces are also on safety hoardings around the £50 million construction work at the college’s Great Horton Road campus.
Pam Sheldon, of the college, said: “We are delighted to be involved in this innovative use of the otherwise functional hoardings around the site and thrilled that Metro selected our students to star in the campaign.”
Dorothy Sharp, Metro’s Travel Plan Officer for Bradford, said: “Metro has been proud to work with the College and BAM to encourage their site visitors to walk, cycle, car share or catch the bus and train.”
